HS acts in strict compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR) and applicable data protection legislation, in all personal data processing activities under its responsibility.
The purpose of the HS Privacy Policy is to describe how we treat the personal data of natural persons that relate to HS, as well as to inform the rights of the holders of the personal data.

Privacy

Your personal data will be processed according to the applicable European, Portuguese or other laws on the retention, processing, access and transfer of personal data. This Policy is applicable to personal data collected via means and communications available on the Internet (such as our website and e-mail). HS will only collect personal data provided by the corresponding holder. The collected data shall not be passed on to third parties.

Data Transmission

Ban on Marketing by Third Parties. HS does not sell or transfer personal data collected via its website to third parties for marketing purposes. You may send a link or e-mail to a friend or colleague to show him/her our website. E-mail addresses from third parties are only used to send information on behalf of the person who registered the address; they will not be collected or used by HS or by third parties for other purposes.

1. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

The new General Data Protection Regulation establishes a more comprehensive definition of the concept of personal data. Personal data is any information, regardless of its nature and the medium on which it is presented, capable of identifying a person. HS undertakes to only process personal data strictly necessary for each process, as shown below:

1.1. Client management

HS is dedicated to carrying out engineering and architectural services, construction management, remodeling and restoration of properties. The processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of the provision of services to be concluded between the customer and HS, or for carrying out pre-contractual steps at your request. The personal information collected includes name, address, email, telephone and/or mobile number and taxpayer number and is intended for:

a) Signing a service provision contract.
b) Carrying out a technical visit to gather information and measure, with a view to drawing up a budget.
c) Management of transactions with issuance of invoices and transmission to the Tax Authority.

1.2. Contact management

The personal information collected may include name, telephone number and email address. It is exclusively intended to respond to the customer's request made through the contact form available on the website.

2. SHARING PERSONAL DATA

In certain cases, we may disclose your personal data to entities that provide services to us, within the scope of home deliveries, assembly and repairs. We will proceed to the transmission of your personal data to the Tax Authority, by legal imposition. HS does not share your personal data with other companies or brands for commercial purposes.

3. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION RIGHT

HS has prepared several information security measures, including technological controls, administrative measures, techniques and procedures that guarantee the protection of personal data, preventing its misuse, unauthorized access and disclosure, its loss, alteration or its unauthorized destruction.
Personal data will only be kept for the period strictly necessary to fulfill the objectives identified above, within legal limits. At the end of the period, HS undertakes to destroy the personal data.
As a general rule, we retain transaction data for a period of 10 years, which is the period defined by law.
The holder of personal data has the following rights in terms of data protection:
right of access and information, right of rectification, right to request erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”), right to limitation of treatment, right to data portability, right to object, right to withdraw your consent at any time, right to file a complaint with the HS or with the National Data Protection Commission, which is the competent supervisory authority in Portugal.
To exercise any of these rights, in accordance with the law, make a request through the following email geral@hellosophistication.com. You will also be asked to prove your identity in order to ensure that the sharing of personal data is only done with the holder. You should bear in mind that in certain cases (ex compliance with the contract and legal and tax obligations) your request may not be immediately fulfilled.

HS will analyze the requests, evaluating their legitimacy and relevance, committing to respond in a timely manner.

4. WEBSITE

This website must be used exclusively for your personal use. Its modification, reproduction, duplication, copying, distribution, sale, resale and other forms of exploitation, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, is prohibited. All intellectual property rights on the website and its contents belong to HS, unless expressly stated otherwise. HS grants you limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable use only to view or print the content for your personal, non-commercial use only.

4.1. Limitation of Liability

HS does not sponsor any of the websites to which there are links, nor any website that has a link to its website, and is not responsible for the content of these websites. The Internet is a worldwide network of computers and any information sent or transmitted by you will necessarily be forwarded by computers of third parties.

HS is not responsible for failures in the security of communications and assumes no responsibility for the misuse of your information by third parties.
